This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the ESS Based on Webdynpro ABAP (PA-ESS-XX-WDA) component. You can use this BAdI to change the type of URL for the profile picture.

In ESS WDA and ESS UI5 applications, the type of URL for the profile picture depends on the location where the picture is saved - local server or external content sever. Depending on the location of the picture, the type of photo URL can be one of the following:

  • Relative
  • Absolute

By default, type of URL for the profile picture is set as relative.

To change the type of URL for the profile picture, you can use the BAdI HRXSS_B_PER_PHOTO_URL. You can use the method SET_LOC_INFO to set the type or URL.

Set the value for the parameter EV_LOC_INFO in the method SET_LOC_INFO to one of the following:

  • R (relative)
  • ' ' (absolute)
