HR_ECM_00_AD_005 - Define First Compensation Program Groupings

In this step, you maintain first compensation program groupings. Such groupings, which are used in infotype Compensation Program (0758), enable you, in combination with second compensation program groupings, to differentiate employees for compensation purposes on the basis of various attributes. By doing so, you determine whether or not employees belonging to different combinations are eligible for different compensation plans.
- Executive / Non-executive
- Salaried / Hourly paid
The SAP System is shipped with a set of compensation program groupings that you can change to meet your company-specific requirements.
Determine which groupings are valid within your organization. If all employees are eligible for the same set of compensation plans, only one grouping is required.
- Select the relevant compensation area.
- Click New entries.
- Enter a 4-character code and a description.
- Save your entries.
- Repeat the previously mentioned steps for any further groupings.
You can set a default grouping for infotype Compensation Program (0758) by means of feature First Compensation Program Grouping (CP1GP).
