In this step, you delimit an LTI plan in time and maintain the related stock information to determine the price of a security.

Note

If one or more stock splits have been performed, the new stock unit created on the date of the stock split must be linked to the LTI plan as of the split date. Prior to this, the original stock unit must have been linked to the LTI plan.

You could split LTI Plan Stock Options 2003 into 3 to reflect successive stock splits and a specify the duration for each record, as well as the stock unit.

You must have performed the activity Define Stock Units.

  1. Choose New entries.
  2. Enter an existing LTI plan and delimit the record.
  3. Determine the lifecycle of the LTI plan by specifying the timeframe between the grant date and the expiry date.
  4. Specify a vesting rule if necessary.
  5. If more than one stock unit is applicable, create a record for each stock unit.
  6. Select the relevant stock exchange - which is linked to the stock unit - and the price type of the security. This information, in addition to the security ID number you have specified in Define Stock Units, enables you to retrieve the price of a security on a given key date.
  7. Save your entries.
