In this Customizing activity, you can display the assignments of Calculations for Public Services Regulations to a public services regulation and, if necessary, define customer-specific assignments.

You can use this Customizing activity (Public Services Regulation Matrix) to map special features of public services regulations that differ from the previous BeamtVG. It allows you to control the calculations for public services regulations using Customizing and to view the functionality in the form of a matrix.

This Customizing activity uses view V_T7PBSCA5B (Assignment of Calculation for Public Services Regulation to Public Services Regulation) to display the assigment of individual public services regulation provisions for various public services regulations.

If the checkbox in the Only Doc. column is selected, the entry is not considered in the calculation. It is solely used for documentation purposes to display the calculations for public services regulations available in full. These calculations for public services regulations for which the Only Doc. column is selected are technically evaluated using class CL_HRDEPBSVAVG_DIENSTRECHT in the corresponding methods, independent of the validity date specified.

A calculation for a public services regulation, which may be used without any additional calculation or without checking other data, does not have any interface assigned to it in Customizing activity Define Calculations for Public Services Regulations. An interface is assigned to a calculation for a public services regulation that is used if an additional calculation is made or if further data is checked.

The assignment of an interface has two implications:

  • The existence of an entry for a calculation for a public services regulation with a corresponding validity date does not necessarily mean that the calculation is active. The check to find out if this is actually active is done using the assigned class.

Important: Entries with the same assignment of a calculation for a public services regulation to a public services regulation in view V_T7PBSCA5C (Overriding of Calculation for Public Services Regulation) override the information in the same entry in view V_T7PBSCA5B (Assignment of Calculation for Public Services Regulation to Public Services Regulation). If you make an entry in view V_T7PBSCA5B (Assignment of Calculation for Public Services Regulation to Public Services Regulation), this is the only one that is relevant for the validity. You can use this to deactive the validity period that is predefined as standard in accordance with your requirements. This functionality differs from the one when setting the validity of a subapplication in view V_T596D (Validity Intervals for Non-Statutory Subapplications) where you bring forward the validity of the entry in view V_T596C (Validity Interval for Statutory Subapplications) but can not postpone it to some time in the future.

The overriding of these values can be done using Customizing activity Assign Calculation for Public Services Regulation to Public Services Regulation.
