To calculate the remaining bonus in accordance with Section §50 a, b, d, and e of the German Public Sector Pensions Act (BeamtVG), you must first determine the pensionable portion allotted to the bonus period. In the standard SAP system, the pensionable employment period allotted to this bonus period is calculated in decimal years and rounded to two decimal places.

When you use Public Services Regulation Bavaria (public services regulation indicator 03), you cannot make any changes. Regardless of the switch, it is always calculated in decimal years.

Set the switch P50JT to the value 'X', so that the system calculates the proportional pension with an employment period in years and days, and divides the result by 365. Rounding does not take place during division. This means a greater calculation accuracy is achieved.
