Here you define the fields and transactions that should be listed in the action log if changes are made to the data contained within.

You have executed the IMG activity Define Settings for the Action Log for Each Installed Base Category.

When determining if changes have been made to components or installed bases, only those fields or transactions for which the check field is selected are taken into account.

For installed base category 01, a selection of all of the possible fields and transactions that can be selected for this category is listed. In the standard system, all fields and transactions are selected.

If there are no existing entries for an installed base category, all specified fields and transactions are evaluated for the action log.

The settings are made according to each intalled base category.

Define the following:

  • Define the transactions for which changes made should be listed in the action log. Possible transactions are:
  • DELETED: Component has been deleted

  • MOVED: Component has been moved to another installed base

  • NEW_COMP: Component is new

  • PARENT: Component has been moved within the installed base

  • PARTNER: Partner assignment has changed

  • Define in which component fields, changes should be listed in the action log. Possible fields include:
  • AMOUNT: Quantity

  • DESCR: Component description

  • DEVICEID: Identification

  • OBJECT: Changes to the product ID or object ID, or to the installed base number (a different installed base is assigned to the installed base component)

  • POSNO: Item number

  • SORTF: Sort string

  • STATUS: System status

  • UNIT: Base unit of measure
