ICAN1 - Define Number Range for Matching Documents

In this Customizing activity, you check the generated number range for the matching documents and, if necessary, create new number range intervals.

When created, each matching method has a default number range interval "00" generated, which ranges from "1000000000" to "9999999999". You must not modify it.

The system always uses "00" as the default number range interval. Usually, you don't need to create other ones. This number range is expected to be enough for the product lifecycle, because a data archiving program is usually executed before the number range is used up. After that, you can recycle the numbers.

Specify a matching method and check if the number range interval "00" has been created. If not, create the number range interval by choosing Insert Lineand enter the required values as above.
