Use

This Business Add-In (BAdI) provides you with an interface to an external document vendor. The system calls the BAdI in the following places:

  • In the input help for the form: The BAdI determines which documents the external document vendor can provide.
  • In the print preview: The BAdI determines claim data and sends this to the external document vendor so that the vendor can use this data to create a form. An HTML session is opened in the external document vendor's system, displaying the form that has been created with the claim data. The claim handler can adjust the data and then publish the form and archive it with the claim.

The BAdI also contains methods that you can use to assign the claim data to messages that the system sends to the external document vendor to establish which documents are available and to create the form.

You can use this BAdI to convert the HTML string of the form to a string table so that the form can be displayed in claims processing.

Requirements

Use this BAdI in the implementation of the external document vendor. You will need to adjust the methods depending on which document vendor you use and which form requirements you have. For more information, see the Release Note Interface to External Document Vendor.

Standard settings

The BAdI does not have multiple uses and it is not filter-dependent.

The fallback class CL_EX_ICL_FORMS_REQ_MAPPING provides you with a sample implementation.

The BAdI is only executed if Customizing exists for the internal claim type for external document vendor.
