In this Customizing activity, you define the profiles for the Investigative Case Management Relationship tree hierarchy. These profiles contain the relationships between the objects in the tree hierarchy and specify the attributes.

  • The BC set ICM_NAV_TREE must be activated.

The standard system includes the following tree profiles:

Profile Description Application(s) / View(s)
ICMTREE Default tree profile ICM Case/Lead Overview
  ICM Person/Organization Overview
  ICM Activity/Incident Overview

The ICMTREE profile is linked to the Fiori launchpad catalog SAP_CRM_BC_INVESTIGATORthrough a new function profile ICMTREEPROFILE maintained in the Define Fiori Launchpad Catalogs configuration.

The customizing settings for the launchpad catalogs are available in Customizing for Service under UI Framework -> Technical Role Definition-> Define Fiori Launchpad Catalogs

Carry out the following activities to define a tree profile:

Create a new tree profile (copy default ICM tree profile). You can perform the following:

  • Add own toolbar buttons to perform customer-specific actions.
  • Add or define new columns to the tree. By default, only one column is delivered.
  • Define or change the tree hierarchy.
  • You can create the hierarchy for your profile.

  • You can define the way the system displays the relevant objects.

  • You can define the one-click actions.

You can define the way nodes are presented, i.e., texts, attributes, icons.

This functionality is not supported in Investigative Case Management, by default.

For more information about the setup instructions, refer to SAP Note 3007822.
