ICM_LOC_GENERAL - Basic Settings for Locations

Basic Settings for Locations

To work with locations, you need to maintain certain basic settings.

Define Categories for Location

1. In the SAP Fiori Launchpad, choose Manage Categories.
2. Choose New to create a new schema.
3. Enter the general details in the General Data.
4. Create new entries in the Application Areas,select ICM Location as the Application ID.
5. Create categories and assign sequences in the Category Hierarchy.
6. Update the validity period in the General Data.

Note!Ensure that the validity period is a future date.

1. Set the status to Released and Save.

Location-Specific Settings

You need to make the following settings:

1. Settings for regional structures and address checks

• Regional Structure/City File

• Activate City File

In the Customizing activity Define Countries/Regions (basic view) you select the appropriate country/region, expand the details and select the City file active check box.
