ICM_OBJ_GENERAL - Basic Settings for Objects

To work with objects certain basic data has to be set up correctly. The steps involved are described below:

Define Object Categories

1. In the SAP Fiori Launchpad, choose Manage Categories
2. Choose New to create a new schema.
3. Enter the general details in the General Data.
4. Create new entries in the Application Areas, select ICM Object as the Application ID.
5. Create categories and assign sequences in the Category Hierarchy.
6. Update the validity period in the General Data.

Note!Ensure that the validity period is a future date.

1. Set the status to Released and Save.
