IDCFM_CR_BALANCE - BAdI: Calculate Balance for Capitalization Reserve Account

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Transaction Manager(FIN-FSCM-TRM-TM) component. You can use this BAdI to modify the calculation of the balance for a capitalization reserves account.

The capitalization reserves account is used for the capital gains or losses that result from the sale or conversion of debt securities. The capital gains or losses are posted directly to the capitalization reserves account. A capital gain increases the account balance, and a capital loss decreases the account balance. The credit balance of the capitalization reserves account cannot be negative. If a debit account balance of zero is reached, the remaining capital loss is posted to the profit and loss account.

This BAdI contains the following methods:

• CR_BALANCE_CALCULATE: You can use this method to override the balance calculated for the capitalization reserve account.

• AMORTIZED_VALUE: You can use this method to recalculate the amortization of a security before the flow is generated and the capitalization account balance is calculated.

• FLOWS_MANIPULATE: You can use this method to change the value of the generated flow.

Note that you can also change the generation of the flow using the MANIPULATE_DERIVED_FLOWS method in the Business Add-In (BAdI) For Manipulating Flows: Valuation/Derived Business Trans. (TPM_TRL_MANIPULATE).
