In this Customizing activity, you assign each document class to the appropriate accounting document types.

Create an entry for each accounting document type for which CFDI is applicable.

Assign a document class to each accounting document type.

Since official document numbering (Official Doc. Number) is not needed for CFDI, select Not relevant. With this selection, the document is signed, but is not assigned an official document number.
