IHS_MM_EXMP_CBIH05 - Assign Display Fields to Agent Characteristics

The agent properties that are relevant for measurement management are displayed by means of display fields that access value assignment types and characteristics. In this IMG activity you specify which value assignment types and characteristics you want to use.
- Check the default settings and assign other value assignment types and characteristics to the target fields (display fields) if necessary. If required, you can set the display of the characteristics to be dependent on the value assignment type.
- Edit the following fields for each target field:
- Value Assignment Type
- Characteristic Name
- Possibly Agent Type
- The other fields are not evaluated by measurement management.
- Note the following when assigning characteristics:
- The characteristic for the determination type must have the Customizing table CCIHC_DETTYPE as its check table. You edit CCIHC_DETTYPE in the IMG activity Specify Determination Types.
- The characteristic for the measurement method must have the Customizing table CCIHC_METHOD as its check table. You edit CCIHC_METHOD in the IMG activity Specify and Assign Measuring Device Types and Measurement Methods.
- Make sure that the value assignment types you assigned to the target fields appear in the property tree you are using to enter agent data. To do this, check whether the value assignment types are assigned to your property tree in Customizing for Basic Data and Tools in the IMG activity Set Up Property Trees.
- Note that the value assignment types SAP_EHS_1013_060 (Measurement Method) and SAP_EHS_1023_040 (Summated Value Group) are not assigned to the EH&S Standard property tree.
