SAP E-Book

In this Customizing activity, you assign back-end systems to the inbox. This step is only required when you want the inbox to handle work items from systems other than the local system. The inbox will continue to handle work items from the local system even if you have assigned multiple back-end systems to it.

You have defined RFC connections in transaction RFC Destinations (Display/Maintain) (SM59) for the back-end systems you want to assign.

  1. Choose New Entries.
  2. Enter the following information:
  • Application
POWL application ID of the inbox.

  • RFC Destination
The RFC destination of the system to be connected, as defined in transaction RFC Destinations (Display/Maintain) (SM59). You must enter an existing RFC destination.

  1. Save your entries.

Note:

You do not have to create an entry for the local system. If you do, all work items from the local system are sent twice to your inbox.
