INDICES_DATAFEED - Define Indexes

In this step you define how to import the index values via the external partner program of your datafeed provider.

Notation:

• Index name:,,,,,,DAX,,(Frankfurt floor trading system)

• Index type:,,,,,,03,,(last current value)

Relevant datafeed notation (example for Dow Jones, April 1997):

• Instrument name:,,=FDAX

• Data source:,,QFRecord

• Instrument property:,,LAST

In Customizing you have to define:

• Index name via Treasury management -> Basic functions -> Market data management -> Master data -> Indexes -> Define index AND

• Index type via Treasury management -> Basic Functions -> index type, via Treasury management -> Basic functions -> Master data -> Indexes -> Define index types.

1. Define how you import your indexes via the external partner program and hence via the datafeed.
