This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Data Medium Exchange Engine(CA-GTF-CSC-DME) component. You can use this BAdI to adjust the input file before it is processed according to the format mapping.

This BAdI definition consists of the following BAdI method:

  • PREPROCESS_INPUT
This method can be used to adjust the content of the input file before processing.

Common use cases for preprocessing include:

  • Replacement/removal of special or national characters
  • Removal of the specific content of the file which does not need to be processed

This BAdI contains implementation example class for preprocessing.
