In this Customizing activity, you activate the interest on arrears calculation for a particular combination of company code, product type, and business operation.

If you have selected the Interest on Arrears Calculation checkbox, the system calculates and posts interest on arrears for the loan during the execution of the selected business operation.

You can activate the interest on arrears calculation for the following business operations:

  • Payoff
  • Deferral
  • Capitalization of Overdue Items

NOTE

This Customizing activity only applies to the product categories Mortgage Loan (300)and General Loan (330).

You are using the corresponding business operations.
