ISHMED_BAS_BCCATEXP - Basic Catalog Export

With this IMG activity you can export basic catalogs.

The export is executed in the following steps:

• First you create an export configuration for a selected basic catalog. You can allocate a name and defined whether the system should export item assignments from the basic catalog, in addition to the basic catalog items and the catalog hierarchy.

• You then select the Export Basic Catalog activity. This activity calls the report RN1_BC_EXPORT_CATALOG, which you can alternatively schedule as a batch job.

On the initial screen of the report you select an export configuration and enter a delimitation time. Enter also a pathway and a file name under which the import file should be saved on the application server.

The system interprets the delimitation time as follows:

• The system only exports items which are valid at the delimitation time.

• If delimitations exist for an item, the system exports the item with the data concerning the delimitation which is valid at the delimitation time.

The system exports in XML format which is also the import format.

Requirements

For the export you require the appropriate write authorization on the file system of the application server. You should contact your system administrator.
