The BAdI BADI_ISHMED_BIX_SITASSIGN is called when the base item type Assign Situation is executed.

In the BAdI you can influence the behavior of the base item during its execution. For example, you can:

  • Check conditions, e.g. age of patient
  • Trigger additional actions, e.g. send an e-mail
  • Modify the presetting from the base item

The system executes the method BEFORE_EXIT_AT_FIRST before the execution of the initial action defined in the base item. The system executes the method AFTER_EXIT_AT_FIRST after the execution of the initial action defined in the base item. This base item type does not support repeat actions.

To ensure that the BAdI is called before the system executes the base item action, you have to enter the filter value in the Before Execute. field.

To ensure that the BAdI is called after the system executes the base item action, you have to enter the filter value in the After Execut. field.

The BAdI is not executed in the standard system.

Implement the BAdI BADI_ISHMED_BIX_SITASSIGN, assign a filter value with which your enhancement implementation can be selected, and activate your implementation.

  • Enter the specified filter value in the Before Execut. and/or After Execut. fields in base item maintenance.
  • Assign the base item to an application. This is possible for the Treatment Pathways, Ward Documentation Work Station, and SAP ACM components.

For the base item type SITASSIGN, it is useful to made modifications for the following parameters in the BAdI:

WS_ID - Situation template ID

NOTE - Note that is transferred into the situation when the situation template is assigned

PLDATE_OFFSET - Offset in days for calculating the planned date (Meaning: Starts in X days from the time of the assignment)

PLDATE_EVERYDAY - Restriction for calculating the planned date, whether target date must be every day or imperatively a working day (Default: every day).
