ISHMED_COM_DOCOUT_LP - Partner-Specific Logical Port for Documents

By performing this action you configure the address under which a partner system receives documents by web service.

Please Note: The interface of the web service called has to match the interface of the web service N2MEDDOC_RECEIVE.

You have to define communication settings for each communication partner. These settings are stored in the system in the form of a logical port

Ask your order filler for the address of the web service which they use. Execute the activity, assign a name and select Create. Enter the address of the web service on the tab page "Call Parameters", check other settings and select Save.

Normally a user name is necessary to enable your system to call web services with your partner. In order to configure logon settings, select Goto > WS Security. This takes you to the dialog "WS Security: Edit Profile" Assign a name for your new logon profile and select Create. Use the template "SET_USERNAME". Enter the user name and password for the web service, select Save to save the logon profile. Select Back twice to return you to your logical port settings.

Change to the area "Application Specific Settings" on the "Operations" tab page at the bottom of the screen. Enter the name of your logon profile in the "Profile Out" field, in order to assign your logon profile to the logical port. Then save your settings.

Note: If a communication platform such as XI is the direct i.s.h. med communication partner you have to refer a partner to a web service of this communication platform. In this case, you can use the same logical port for several order fillers, because all documents are sent to the communication platform first of all.
