ISHMED_CON_PLG_PROXD - Planning: Detailed Assignment Proxy OU to Business Partner for Connectivity

In this IMG activity you can individually assign external (planning) business partners (third party systems) different organizational units (proxy OUs) and therefore also different planning authorities.

The previous activity (Planning: System-Wide Proxy OU for Planning by Connectivity Services) allows you to very generally create a proxy OU for all external planners for the derivation of planning authorities.

WIth this activity you can, if the scenarios you need to realize require it, assign individual external business partners to different proxy OUs.

Note that a proxy OU which you enter here for a business partner (in table N1CONNBPPROXY), overrides the planning authority according to system parameter N1CXPROX.

You can therefore exclude individual business partners from the standard behavior defined in the system parameter, by making an entry for this business partner where you leave the PROXYOE parameter blank and set the entry to active. This business partner, unlike all other business partners, will then, for example, not be allowed to create clinical orders with appointments.

You must first configure the required organizational units (or identify suitable, existing OUs) and grant these planning authorities for the desired planning objects.

Assign the external planning business partner to the relevant proxy OU. Enter a period of validity and activate the assignment.
