In this IMG activity you determine tasks and the user status for the status profile for service ordering tasks.

This enables you to integrate Service Ordering into the licensed component Task Management (IS-HMED-SU-AM). The joint use of Service Ordering with Task Management makes it easier for the user to process the various steps associated with the work routine for a service ordering order.

Note that this this IMG activity is only available for service ordering orders within Smart UI. This IMG activity is not relevant for the clinical order.

Depending on a status profile you define which tasks are available in service ordering for an order which is based upon this status profile. To do this you select the Active checkbox of the individual tasks which are available as standard, and , assign these to the individual tasks, for example, of an occupational group.

In this IMG activity you also assign the individual status of a status profile (user status) to an internal status. For example, the following predefined statuses are available:

  • Preregistered
  • Pending Confirmation
  • Confirmed
  • In Processing
  • Completed

The assignment of a user status to an internal status predefined in the system is necessary, for example, so that the system can determine tasks for service ordering. This means that the system provides the user with specific tasks for orders to which specific internal statuses are assigned.

For service ordering the system determines the tasks for internal statuses, for example, as follows:

Status Task
Preregistered   Complete Order
Pending Confirmation   Confirm Order
Confirmed   Check Order
To Be Revised   Revise Order

You should note that the "Check Order" tasks is addressed to the order filler of an order. All other tasks concern the initiator of the order.

To use task management, execute the report RN1_CORD_ISTATUS_ASSIGN after assigning an internal status to an external status.

This program assigns the corresponding internal status to the (old) order items of clinical orders that exist in the system, related to the user status.

You should note that you must execute the report once again following any changes which you make in the IMG activity Maintain Tasks for Status Profile (transaction N1COS), so that the system can determine the internal status accordingly.
