ISHMED_ME_IMP_BDCC - Import External Drug Catalog

You use this IMG activity to load packages in i.s.h.med medication XML format containing information on external drugs and other drug-related information (e.g. administration routes, localizations, classification systems) into the system.

The packages loaded into the system are then available for installation.

In a second step you can import the information contained within the packages into the target client in the database of the Medication component.

• You have created a target catalog with corresponding drug hierarchy levels in the system.

• You have assigned all units of measurement contained within the XML package to internal SAP units of measurement (see IMG activity Assign External Units of Measurement to Internal Units).

• You have assigned all currency units contained within the XML package to internal SAP currency units (see IMG activity Assign External Currency Units to Internal Units).

• The XML file is available in i.s.h.med medication XML format.
