This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the following components:

  • Medication (IS-HMED-ME)
  • Smart Medication (IS-HMED-SU-AP-ME)

You use this BAdI to determine the behavior for processing drugs, e.g. in drug management, and the transfer of changed base catalog data into the formulary.

You can only determine the behavior for fields which are also contained in the base catalog. These fields are contained in the N1BDCC_FIELDS structure.

The changeability of fields of the drug can be prevented.

The behavior when updating the formulary from the base catalog can be determined for the fields. The following options are available:

  • User decision
  • No change of formulary data
  • Automatic transfer from base catalog

A drug was transferred from the base catalog and not manually created.

This Business-Add-In is active as standard. The default code is executed automatically.

In the default implementation of BAdI CL_DEF_IM_ISHMED_ME_FORM_FLAGS the following behavior is determined:

  • All fields of a drug can be processed.
  • The Brand Name, Generic Name, Manufacturer, Administration Device and Administration Route fields are not changed during an update.
  • The Narcotic, Psychotropic, Controlled Drug, Orderable, Single Agent Drug and Refrigeration Necessary fields require a user decision if they should be changed during an update.
  • All other fields are automatically transferred from the base catalog.
