In this IMG activity you enter reason codes. Specific actions within the Medication module must have a reason entered.

• A reason can be entered when a drug is ordered (therapeutic, prophylactic, etc.).

• If there is a difference in the time or quantity of ordered and actually administered drugs, a reason must be entered.

• If a drug is ordered but not administered, a reason must be entered.
