ISH_AMBDATA_FILL - IS-H: Fill AMB Data for Customer Specific Fields

You can use this Business Add-In (BAdI) to fill the customer-defined field values that have been appended to the standard structures RNAMB_HEADER, which represents the header line in AMB files, and RNAMB_ITEM, which represents a line for every treatment certificate (TC). You can also use it to modify SAP standard fields for AMB records.

By implementing this BAdI, you can fill and modify AMB record values. The system does not accept changes to administrative data such as the TC number (field BELNR) and communication status (field COMM_STATUS) which are communicated via the include RNAMB_ADM. If the TC number is changed, the system displays message NIT159 in the selection screen. During FILL BAdI call, the system provides a temporary AMB number (field AMBID) for all the AMB records starting with character '$'. If the value for this field is changed, this is considered as AMB Number for the TC for further communication.

Ensure the length of the AMB number equals the length defined for AMB Number field in the communication standard. Changes to the AMB data are considered for AMB file creation and also changes are displayed in the ALV display. The communication standard and version for the selected list of cases can be obtained by importing parameters IV_CMSTD and IV_STVER.

To ensure complete processing of the coding, enable the FILL implementation and activate the BAdI.
