This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Billing (IS-H-PA-BIL) component. You can use this BAdI to implement up to four buttons that meet your specific business needs on the quick billing screen.

For more information about the standard settings (filters, single or multiple uses), see the Enhancement Spot Element Definitions tab in the BAdI Builder (transaction SE18).

An example implementation CL_IM_ISH_BILLING_CUST_SPEC_BU is available. With this example implementation activated, the following two buttons are available on the quick billing screen:

  • Serious Disease
In China, the coverage levels for a service may vary depending on the seriousness of diseases. A service assigned to a serious disease may get a higher coverage level than it does when it is assigned to some other diseases.
In a case where a patient is diagnosed as having a serious disease and other diseases, the Serious Disease button displays. You click this button to assign the relevant services to the serious disease. Then you can bill for these services with higher coverage levels.
The example implementation uses case classification category as the criterion to determine if a disease is a serious disease.
  • Special Discount
You select a service and click the Special Discount button to enter a discount for the service. Then you can bill for the service at this discount.
