ISH_CONN_MEDSYS2APP - BAdI: Connect Medical System to Service-Based Appointment Search

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the component SAP Patient Management (IS-H-PM).

You can use this BAdI to connect a medical system to the service-based appointment search. This means you can store the search results or the result of the service-based appointment search in the medical system instead of in SAP Patient Management.

The medical system must be closely integrated with SAP Patient Management for the BAdI to function properly. For example, the time slots must be stored in the same database table.

Make sure you do not execute an independent COMMIT WORK or ROLLBACK WORK command in the BAdI implementation.

• In the standard system, there is no activated BAdI implementation. The standard code is executed automatically.

• This is a multiple-use Business Add-In.

• The BAdI is filter-dependent. The relevant country version of SAP Patient Management serves as the filter.

BAdI Implementations

The BAdI implementation is instantiated according to the context. This means the system always uses the same implementation for each internal session and for each call.

You do not want to store the results of the service-based appointment search in SAP Patient Management but rather in a connected medical system. You can use this BAdI to save the data directly in the medical system.
