In work organizer management, output control is configured using Customizing tables. This Customizing takes into account the most common control criteria such as insurance provider and insurance provider type.

This Business Add-In (BAdI) allows you to refine output control, taking into account additional context information. From the set of output requests determined from the Customizing tables you can decide which work organizers are relevant for output and which are not.

Moreover, you can change certain print parameters such as

• Printer

• Number of copies

• Output spool request immediately

• Delete spool request after output

• Use print dialog (if dialog processing is possible)

• Output language of form (if language control is active)

Note that it is not possible to add new entries or change other fields.

The BAdI is called as soon as the Customizing tables are evaluated. If the selection print dialog box is called, in selection printing for example, it already contains the changes of the BAdI.

The BAdI is filter-dependent. The filter is the event that triggered form printing.

Context information such as patient number, case number, or an invoice or collective invoice number, is, where possible, provided to the BAdI.

Work organizers must be defined and output control must be configured for them.

There is no standard implementation, but an example implementation is provided.

If necessary, implement the BAdI for the appropriate filter values.

The following example is particularly relevant for country version Italy and reflects the example implementation:

• You are using collective invoice categories in your system and you have defined two categories, C1 and C2.

• An insurance provider requires collective invoices of both categories but the respective printouts are different.

• You have defined two work organizers, ZCINVC1 and ZCINVC2, of work organizer type RECH_CB.

• You have configured the output control of ZCINVC1 and ZCINVC2 in such a way that ZCINVC1 determines the printout for C1 and ZCINVC2 the printout for C2.

With these settings, selection printing always proposes ZCINVC1 and ZCINVC2 no matter which collective invoice will be printed.

By a suitable implementation of this BAdI you can ensure that for the printing of collective invoices of category C1, only work organizer ZCINVC1 will be used, and for category C2, work organizer ZCINV2 will be used. This applies to both standard and selection printing.
