In this Customizing activity, you can define the assignment of access types to business partners, taking account of additional parameters.

This allows you to specify that the business partners entered here can be used with the default settings in the service-based appointment search. You can also define the two search criteria priority class and search period for a business partner according to the access type, which influences the result of the service-based appointment search for the business partner in question.

If you want to use the assignments you have maintained in the appointment search, you must activate the service-based appointment search in your system or in the institution in question.

Specify the institution for which you want to define the assignment of business partners to access types. You need to do this because you can define institution-specific assignments.

Specify the business partner (BPartner field) or self-payer (SP) for whom you want to assign access types. Please note that you can only make an entry for a business partner or a self-payer, but not for both.

You can use the access type (field AccType) to determine the result of the service-based appointment search, depending on the attribute selected.

Specify a priority class (PC field) if you want to explicitly restrict the service-based appointment search to a specific priority class. The priority class itself is used when defining the time slot to specify that the time slot is only to be taken into account in the appointment search for search requests containing the specified priority class. You can define the priority class for a planning object in time slot definition for the day program.

You can use the Default Access Type indicator (field DAT) to define a specific access type as the default access type for a specific business partner or self-payer. You can only define one access type as the default access type for a business partner or the self-payer.

You can also specify a search period (field INT) if you wish. Here, you can specify the number of days that are to be searched for a time slot for a treatment appointment in visit scheduling. If you do not specify a search interval, the appointment search is executed for a period of three weeks (21 days).
