ISH_TNCATD - Specify Discharge Date as Reference for Catalog Determination
General Data in Customer Master rdisp/max_wprun_time - Maximum work process run timeThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
The following only applies to the country versions Italy, Singapore, and Switzerland.
Most DRG systems define the admission time of an inpatient stay as the determining factor for its inclusion in a validity period, such as a calendar year. For this reason, the system supports catalog determination using the admission date as standard. However, there are also DRG systems that perform catalog determination based on the discharge time.
In this Customizing activity, you can specify the discharge date of an inpatient case as the reference for catalog determination for specific institutions and times.
The Customizing activity then overrides the following catalog determination processes, which are based by default on the admission date, with the discharge date if it - or the current system date - is in the specified period:
- Catalog for diagnoses in the Customizing activity Set Parameters for Diagnosis Documentation.
Only applies to the following setting for the Customizing activity
- Basic Catalog (TNDIA-BASKAS)
- Statistics Catalog (TNDIA-STAKAS)
- Catalog for Referral Diagnoses (TNDIA-EWKAS)
- DRG Diagnosis Catalog (TNDIA-DRG_KAS)
- Indicator "DRG Diagnoses Managed Separately" (TNDIA-DRG_SEPARAT)
- Catalog for procedures with the system parameters OP_TARIF and DRGTARIF in the Customizing activity
Maintain Institution-Specific, Time-Dependent Parameters
- Catalog for DRGs and MDCs and control settings for the DRG grouper in the Customizing activity Set Parameters for DRG Documentation.
Please note that according to the standard settings, only one table entry is displayed for each institution as a result of the time-dependent Customizing settings. If you want to display all the table entries for an institution, you can select the row in question and choose "Expand <-> Collapse" (Ctrl + F8) to make all the corresponding entries visible.
If a case has not yet been discharged and there is therefore no discharge date, the system uses the current system date as the reference date instead.
Entries without an institution are not allowed. You can enter a wildcard in the Institution field. This entry then applies to all institutions.
You should only perform this activity if you want to use the discharge date as the reference.
Institution | Valid From | Valid To |
---|---|---|
0001 | 01/01/2011 | 12/31/2011 |
0002 | 01/01/2012 | 12/31/9999 |
* | 07/01/2010 | 12/31/2010 |
You have specified for Institution 0001 that the discharge date is to be used as the reference for catalog determination for cases with a discharge date between 01/01/2011 and 12/31/2011.
You have specified for Institution 0002 that the discharge date is to be used as the reference for catalog determination for cases discharged after 01/01/2012.
You used the wildcard to specify for all institutions that the discharge date is to be used as the reference for catalog determination for all cases with a discharge date between 07/01/2010 and 12/31/2010.
