In this IMG activity, you set parameters that are used for the transfer of data from the IS-H System into the Executive Information System (EC-EIS).

To be able to transfer data from IS-H into EC-EIS, you must carry out a number of preliminary activities in Customizing for EC-EIS. For information about this, refer to Make Settings in EC-EIS.

The parameter setting table (TNEI0) is delivered without predefined values in the IS-H standard system.

In this IS-H Release, you can set the following parameters per client and institution:

  • Duration Short-stay patient
In this field, you stipulate the maximum number of days (inclusive) that classify an inpatient case as a short-stay patient for data transfer from IS-H into EC-EIS. The duration is determined as of the admission date of the inpatient stay.
  • Duration Long-stay patient per period
In this field, you stipulate the number of days as of which an inpatient case is classified as a long-stay patient for data transfer from IS-H into EC-EIS.
The duration is determined as of the admission date of the inpatient stay. As of the day on which the case is characterized as a long-stay patient, it is output as a long-stay patient in each period up to and including the day when it is discharged on the departmental and nursing organizational unit on which it is receiving care at the end of the respective period.
For this reason, the key figure is not to be regarded as summable in respect to a time frame. Instead, it describes the status for each of the periods to be evaluated.
In the definition of the basic key figures in EC-EIS, please change the aggregation based on time in the Agg.(time) field for LONGS (long-stay patient per period) from the default value 'summation' to a variant of your choosing, and specify the reference characteristic &PERI (report period).
