In this Customizing activity, you define time interpretations. Time interpretations allow you to specify dates relative to a specific time.

Note that you also use this IMG activity for service ordering orders within Smart UI. For more information, see General Information on Service Ordering.

If you want to preregister a patient for an admission appointment, desired appointments in April 2012 might have the following time interpretations:

  • Start April 2012
  • Middle April 2012
  • End April 2012

Time interpretations have a number of uses in the system. Only type 2 time interpretations (approximate values) are relevant for preregistrations. Enter type 2 for time interpretations that you want to use for preregistrations.
