ISISFICA_V_TIMAOTYP - Configure IO Categories and Assign Number Ranges

In this IMG activity you define external insurance object categories (IO categories) and assign a number range and an internal IO category to each external IO category.

In this activity, you can also assign default values to external IO categories. If you create an insurance object, the system uses these values as (changeable) default values.

If you define default values for the creation of insurance objects when you create an InsuranceCollectionDisbursementRequest, you define the default value for a creation variant of the contract account (Field CRTVAR). In this case, you also make the settings for the IMG activities Define Account Creation Variants and Account Creation Rules.

You have defined the number ranges for insurance objects in the activity Define Number Ranges.

SAP delivers internal insurance object categories (insurance contract, broker contract, commission contract, claim number, or deposit contract). These are predefined by the system, therefore you cannot change the internal IO categories.
