In this step, you define the variants of the Internet application component Change Address.

Before you can make these settings, you must first complete the step Identification and Checking of Business Partners in the section on Internet application components.

Maintain the required data under a key of your choice:

  • Specify an initial country. The main reason for doing this is to create a "domestic" variant of the application, for example, to set a filter on the selection field for the region or state.
  • Choose the setting for identifying and checking business partners. Specify a combination maintained in the relevant Customizing step, represented by your key. This determines where the application is to be processed (logon screen or change form) and which fields are to be used.
  • Define where the data from the Internet changes is to be stored in the field Data Destination. One setting allows you to store all data initially in the temporary table. The two other settings specify that the change is made directly if the data is correct. Errored data can be stored in the temporary table or rejected in dialog processing. You can postedit data in the temporary table using report RJKWWWTEMP_SERV, Edit Changes from Internet. An additional report, RJKWWWTEMP_ADR, Edit Address Changes from Internet, has been designed for address changes.
  • Specify whether or not a connection to a CRM Media e-mail campaign is possible in the field IAC-CRM Mail Connection and how this connection is to be designed, if applicable. This setting determines the behavior of the IAC if it is accessed from a CRM e-mail campaign. You can define default settings for various fields or log the customer on.
  • Specify whether or not a log record is to be recorded if the address change is made using data from the Internet. You can evaluate the log using program RJKWWW_PROTOCOL, Log Orders/Changes from the Internet.

The URL used to access the Internet application must be as follows:

http://.../scripts/wgate.dll/jkwww02/!?okcode=strt&key_address=w1

Replace the variable w1 with the key you chose in the entry you defined in this step.
