In this section, you define the requirements for output determination for the applications in Media Sales and Distribution.

Requirements are defined as form routines. These form routines are used in the output condition technique and in statistics.

Requirements check a variety of criteria when the functions in question are being performed. You must enter the requirements you want to use in the output determination procedure for the output types in the output condition technique. When you do this, the system lists the available requirements for each output type (function).

Communication tables KOMKBJ0 to KOMKBJ9 are available for use when creating requirements for output determination, in accordance with the application.

The standard delivery contains a basic set of output types and output determination procedures with corresponding requirements.

  1. First check whether you can copy the requirements provided in the standard delivery and overwrite existing routines if applicable.
  2. Create any new requirements you need as follows:
    1. Enter a group number within the number range interval 600 - 699, which is reserved for customer modifications.
    2. Enter the text for the requirement.
    3. Program the desired requirement in the Editor.
    4. Activate the requirement.
    5. Enter a long text (documentation) explaining the meaning of the requirement.
    6. Specify the application for which the requirement is to apply exclusively.
    7. Enter the requirement in the pricing procedure for the function in which you want to use it.
