In this activity, you assign the optimization method to the contracts in the shipping plan.

You have defined the optimization methods for the contracts. For more information, see Customizing for Press Distribution under Shipping and Transportation Planning -> Shipping Planning -> Optimization Methods for Shipping Plan -> Define Optimization Methods for Contracts.

You can select the optimization methods assigned by choosing the Optimize function in shipping plan processing (transaction JVSDTPLOAD_CHANGE).

  1. Enter the optimization methods that are to be available for use in the shipping plan.
  2. In the sort sequence, define the order in which the system is to list the optimization methods in the dropdown box for the Optimize function.
