ISM_PDEX_REC_PROC - Define Calculation Procedures for Recall Dates
General Data in Customer Master General Data in Customer MasterThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In this Customizing activity, you define the possible calculation procedures.
You can assign a recall group to a calculation rule. This has the following effect on processing:
- The system generates recall dates with a recall group.
- When creating the recall for a recall date with a recall group, the system creates recalls for customers in this group. In the case of a recall date that is not assigned a customer group, the system creates recalls for customers independently of the customer group.
If you want to generate customer-specific recall dates:
- You have defined recall groups.
- You have assigned the business partner (for example, in the role ISM001 Retailer) to a recall group in business partner processing.
You define a calculation procedure by entering an alphanumeric key of up to four characters and an explanatory text.
Select a calculation procedure, choose Calculation Rules in the overview tree, and make the following entries:
- Calculation rules: Assign calculation rules to the calculation procedure.
- Periodic rule: Indicator denoting a periodic rule
- Start date rule: You must define this if you have selected the Periodic Rule indicator.
- Recall information: Assigned to the recall date for an issue
- Exclusion method: You can implement a class interface to make a method available for controlling whether the system is to assign a media issue when creating a recall.
-
Example:
The system has already assigned the media issue to a recall for customer group-specific recall. This media issue is to be assigned to a recall again when a recall is created without a recall group. You can check this in the exclusion method and exclude the media issue from the new recall.
To assign a recall group to the calculation rule, select a rule, choose Assign Recall Groups in the overview tree, and assign a recall group.
