In this IMG activity, you define item categories. The item categories are assigned to a recall type in a subsequent step.

An item category is created in the master data on a media issue. When you generate recall dates for a media issue, the item category is assigned to a recall date.

Enter an alphanumeric key of up to 4 characters for an item category.

Enter a text to explain the meaning of the key.

Item category group

You can enter the key of an item category group here.
