ISM_WERKZPOSTAKTUSA1 - Generate Change Records for Cities and Postal Codes

In this step, you execute the update program for the US postal data based on the City State Product file (cities, postal codes, aliases etc.).

The program compares the postal units in the system with the current data in the CSP file and creates a change record for each change determined.

The data is released to the operative system in change management. In order to do this, you must create a change number in advance and then specify it on the selection screen of the program.

You should install the individual versions of the City State Product file successively and not skip any versions if at all possible.

1. Specify the following general data on the selection screen:
1. Country (US)
2. States (from - to)
3. Number of records after which a database commit is to take place
4. Code age source and code page destination (SAP character sets)
2. Enter the following upgrade-specific data:
1. Logical file name
2. Change number to be used to check and release the change records.
