In this step you will define the number intervals in the number ranges for the box number indicators.

Each box number is created using a unique key. You can define an internal or an external number range for assigning the key.

  • If you do not specify a key when creating a box number, the system will assign a consecutive number from the internal number range automatically.
  • If you assign the key yourself when creating a box number, the system will check your entry against the external number range.

The "Ext" indicator controls whether the respective number range is internal or external.

To define a number range, you need to insert a new number interval. The procedure for doing so is as follows:

  1. Enter an alphanumeric key with a maximum of two digits.
  2. Specify the limits of the number interval
Individual number intervals cannot overlap. Therefore, each number can only appear once
  3. Set the "Ext" indicator for the external number range interval.
