In this step you define sales area-specific factors that are used to weight ads according to their positioning during the contract update.

Text section ads (particularly for the positioning ad type) are updated in a particular booking unit with a weighting factor of > 1 in the contract.

By omitting certain components for each entry, it is possible to make generic entries. This table is accessed in several steps:

  1. With booking unit, content component and positioning ad type.
  2. With booking unit, page/column format and positioning ad type.
  3. With booking unit and content component
  4. With booking unit and positioning ad type.
  5. With booking unit and positioning
  6. With booking unit and page/column format
  7. Following this the same accesses again without the booking unit.

You can also maintain this table from the sales menu using the Master Data -> Positioning Factor function.
