This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Public Sector Contract Accounting (IS-PS-CA) component.

You can use this BAdI to define the key dates of the condition type (i.e. the periods for which the property tax has to be calculated) and for calculating the tax amount for one condition type and one year.

Customizing settings for the following IMG activities must exist:

  • Define Condition Type for Tax Calculation (Property Tax)
  • Define Tax Rate for Tax Calculation (Property Tax)

If you are using the standard implementation, you also have to maintain the Customizing settings for the Business Rule Framework (BRF). Particularly, the following implementation classes need to be implemented:

  • 0PTBI001
  • 0TRMRF001
  • 0TRMRF002
  • If you are using the standard implementation, the calculation formula used for property tax calculation must use BAdI calculation as internal calculation rule. To check this setting, see Calculation Formulas.

This BAdI is called by the following implementations:

  • Implementation BADI_FMCA_PT_RECN_CONTRACT of BAdI BADI_RECN_CONTRACT creates a list of valid conditions for a given contract.
  • Implementation BADI_FMCA_PT_CALC_RULE of BAdIs BADI_RECD_CALC_RULE calculates the tax amount.

BADI_FMCA_PT_CALC_RULE
This implementation calls the Business Rule Framework in order to calculate the taxes of one condition type and one year. If you want to use another tool for tax calculation, you have to deactivate the standard implementation and use your own implementation.

The BAdI is designed for multiple use. All activated implementations are called and executed.

The BAdI is filter-dependent and can be filtered by condition type.
