ISPSCA_FPFMIGRBRF - Migrate Settings for BRF Application

This document describes how you can migrate the settings of your application class to be migrated.

To migrate the settings, proceed as follows:

1. In your application class to be migrated change the application type from TFOR to the application type 0001. Note that the program migrates all tax returns with revenue types that are linked to this application class in one step. You change the application type in Customizing activity Define Additional Settings for Application Class.

Caution:
Make sure that the following context objects are included in your application type: $FMCA_BRF_FORM_HEADER, $FMCA_BRF_FORM_DATA, $FMCA_BRF_PROCESS_CONTROL, $FMCA_FPF_MISSING_FORM

1. Change the access of business partner, contract object, revenue type and period key from context structure $FMCA_CONTEXT_KEYS, or $DPSOB, or $DPSOB_BP_ACC, or $FKKVK, or FKKVKP or $FMCA_CONTEXT_KEYS, or $FMCA_POBJ_S to context object $FMCA_BRF_FORM_HEADER. This step includes the access in 0FICADR001 and customer-specific function module in expression 0FM001.
   Similarly, you change the access of context object $FMCA_FORM_DATA to $FMCA_BRF_FORM_DATA..
   To do so, choose Customizing activity Assign Table to a BRF Context.
2. If you are using a BRF action for creating workflow tasks, you have to change the underlying action type from 0TRMWF001 to 0TRMWF002. This means that you have to create a new action that uses action type 0TRMWF002. You do this in Customizing activity Configure Business Rule Framework.
   If a customer uses the standard workflow task, then workflow reason 01 for correction is ready for use. If a customer uses an implementation-specific workflow task, then event P150 has to be implemented using import parameter I_WF_REASON to trigger the workflow initialization.
3. If you are using a BRF action for setting the header data of your tax return, you have to change the underlying action type from 0TRMST001 to 0TRMUPD001, using context structure $FMCA_BRF_FORM_HEADER. Proceed as described in the previous step.
