In this Customizing activity, you can change the default priority for form views. The system reads this setting when generating decision tables for currency type form fields.

Caution
You cannot change the priority after a decision table has been generated in the system.

If you do not define your own priority, the system reads priorities in alphabetical order. You can see the assignment of letters to view in the input help of the View column in the current Customizing activity.

This example shows what happens if you assign a priority to a form view. The numbers represent the currency values stored for the fields/views.

* In this example, the As Calculated value for Field 4 contains the sum of Field 1 to Field 3.

You have changed the priority and assigned the priorities as follows:

• The highest priority (= priority 3) to the As Filed view (A)

• Priority 2 to the As Amended view (B)

• Priority 1 to the As Calculated view (C).

Thus, the field value for Field 4 in the As Calculated view is 5+7+2=14. If you do not change the view priority, the field value for Field 4 is 5+9+2=16 as the standard delivery reads priorities from C to B to A.
