SAP E-Book

After tax returns have been uploaded to the SAP system they are validated through the Business Rule Framework (BRF). If data does not fulfil the validation requirements, the BRF issues an exception message.

You can group these exception messages according to certain exception levels. The levels determine who is going to deal with a tax return. This concept considers that there are specific skills within an organization that allow for specialization on certain issues. Levels could be, for example, math errors, social or demographic issues, or payment related issues.

In this step you assign a message to an exception level

You have defined the exception level in IMG activity Assign Priority to Exception Level.

You have maintained exception messages in the BRF. To do so, you have to use an action with implementing class 0TRMMSG001. For more information, see Configure Business Rules Framework.
