A tax code is required when maintaining an employment relationship.
The tax code is used in data transfer to Financial Accounting and determines the extent to which the business partner is authorized for input tax deduction.
A carrier with a permanent contract has the tax code 'V0' (tax-exempt) and a freelancer with authorization for input tax deduction has the tax code 'V1' (full tax).
You should maintain the tax codes that are used in Media Sales and Distribution when making the settings for service settlement.
Define the required tax codes under 'Settlement' in Data Transfer to Financial Accounting - Tax Determination.
