In this step, you define the possible attributes of characteristics required when maintaining research.

The characteristic attributes set up here are used to document and evaluate research. The characteristics are as follows:

• Research method

The characteristic attributes for the research method classify researches according to the method with which they were carried out.

Example: Telephone, visit

• Research result

The characteristic attributes for the research result classify completed researches according to their results. Research results are created for each research type.

Example: Result of success research - home delivery satisfactory, erratic

• Reason for bank return

You specify the characteristic attributes for bank returns reasons when maintaining bank returns research.

Example: Account does not exist, customer protest

You should already have created the research types (see Define research types).

The standard settings are intended as an example and should be reworked.

1. Find out which settings might be necessary in your company.
2. To create the possible attributes, please proceed as possible:

• Specify an alphanumeric key for each attribute.

• Enter the appropriate text.
