In this step, you define the application-specific menu structure for maintaining condition master data.

You work throught the following steps:

  • Application text
Here you define the header text for the menu for condition master data maintenance (specific to the application).
  • Definition of condition classes
Here, you define which condition classes are displayed on the initial screen for maintaining condition master data.
A condition class describes a group of conditions, for example gross purchase prices, net purchase prices, bonuses, discounts, tax etc..
  • Assignment of condition types
Here, you assign the condition type and condition table to each condition. You can use the 'Sort' field to control the order in which the conditions appear in the menu in the condition class.

The master data menu in the standard delivery is set up according to the standard pricing elements.

If you define new pricing elements or do not require some of the standard pricing elements, you should modify the menu accordingly.

  1. Overwrite the header text for the master data menu for conditions if required. The valid settings for the usage and application are preset and cannot be changed.
  2. Specify the condition classes for the initial screen in the maintenance menu for conditions.
  3. Select each condition class to display the assigned condition types and tables.
Create any new assignments you require.
  1. Specify the order of the conditions for each assignment.
